To function effectively in the helping professions you need to be in good shape mentally, emotionally and physically. In this workshop, you will develop a better understanding of burnout, vicarious trauma and compassion fatigue, the consequences of each, and strategies to help you avoid compassion fatigue. It is more than self-care. The Impacts of Empathy workshop will provide you with an opportunity to look at how to incorporate these strategies into your own life.
