What to Expect When Calling Pace
If you are an adult (or parent/guardian of a child under 18) interested in the Sexual Violence Treatment Program, please call our office and speak to an intake worker who will schedule a time for you to come in for an intake session. During this session you can expect to be asked some personal information regarding contact information and presenting problem.
All information that you provide is kept confidential. After the intake session is completed you (or your child) will be placed on the wait-list until a therapist is available, at which time the therapist will contact you regarding sessions.
“Trauma is personal. It does not disappear if it is not validated. When it is ignored or invalidated the silent screams continue internally heard only by the one held captive. When someone enters the pain and hears the screams healing can begin.”
