This workshop will define what intimate partner violence is, and how it can be hard to recognize. By evaluating and practicing specific interventions, you will be able to effectively assess the risks, as well as gain skills on how to intervene in an effective manner. You will learn what abuse looks like and have a chance to analyze research that demonstrates the complexity of intimate partner violence and its risk factors.
